hi, this converter is nice but i think it cant calculate the real bengali date before 1980, coz now 14th april is 1st boishakh but before 1980 the the rules wasn't like that, 11th to 15th april's any day can be 1st boishakh, so how can u calculate the accurate date of past? please describe it, thanks.
Admin's Reply: Govt. of Bangladesh follows the rules of Bangla Calendar revised by Bangla Academy. According to that, all previous Bangla dates are also calculated using the new system. Therefore even though 21st February in 1952 was 8th Falgun, it is now said to be happened on 9th Falgun.

Thanks for your effort. But one thing you can think that the roule you applied is based on ershad's new calendar. Our old calendar same for both bengal. You can reslve this problem please.
